Will Obama be re-elected in 2012?

Yes 111 37.00%

No 98 32.67%

Too early to call 79 26.33%

I don't know 12 4.00%

Total:300

If you want to see more polling data though... like for real.

http://www.pollster.com/polls/us/healthplan.php

You can see them all.

The "Don't like it" side wins.

48% to 41%... and it should be noted that polling results in the last two elections have skewed liberal vs accurate voting so the "real" numbers are likely higher.

Quinnipac has it 51% Dislike/ 40% like.

Even Gallup has more people Disliking it then liking it currently.  Really Yougov appears to be the ONLY site that shows most people supporting it.

So if you want to hold on to your position Johnsobas... it's YouGov or nothing.

And even Yougov's poll is only 51% to 49%.

i didn't look into it as closely as you did.  It's certainly not as one sided as people are making it out to be that's for sure.

Dude there's no way we're gonna let a socialist like Obama get re-elected. I don't care who we put up against him, everyone pretty much hates him anyway.

do you even know what socialism is??  really?  I understand disagreeing with Obama's policies but calling him a socialist is just wrong.  Approval rating has been pretty much even with disapproval lately, so no everyone doesn't hate him.

Anti-democrats love to put a lot of names to Obama that just plain aren't true. He is portrayed as a Keynesian, Socialist, Nazi, Communist, with capitalist tendencies; he is an Atheist Jewish Muslim practising voodoo religions, whilst professing to be a Christian; he takes a authoritarian stance on everything with a libertarian twist, etc...

I find that people purposefully misinterpret what they are calling Obama because it makes him sound far more scary than he actually is. And often it conflicts with the truth and  contradict what other like minded people call him... Obama is not a socialist.

Why is everyone so cynical when they talk about him. Just last year this time people still loved him. And unlike Bush, who got re-elected, I fail to see in glaring flaws in what he has done so far...

Could someone explain? (Im not American BTW)

Lets see:

  • Promised a ticket of 'hope' and 'change', despite keeping us in 2 unpopular wars, and a lot of Bush-era policies.
  • Was supposed to be a 'uniter' and bi-partisan, despite pushing through some glaringly one-sided .
  • Has totally botched economic recovery with a poorly planned bailout.
  • Currently botching the oil disaster - he's sat back, and waited for it to get worse and worse, spouting rhetoric with no actions.
  • Has done nothing of major positive worth since his election a year and a half. America is, for the most part, worse off now than when he was elected.
  • Fought for a very poor health care bill, instead of focusing on the economy.

That would sum most of it up.

Wow, so much fail in one post.  Amazing.

And your counter-arguments are....what again?

Just gonna say that I don't believe the Afghanistan War was unjustified.

Just to show how unestablishment the current mood is.  A poltician in South Carlonia lost a primary election to an unemployed Army guy who didn't even run a campaign.
