Sigh. And this is why I trust businesses even less than I trust governments, which is very little too.

I don't get it.  Why do you trust businesses even less than you trust governments?

This is good news for Sony and Nintendo because it makes the Apple products less competitive.  Maybe this will become a trend, and that will help Nintendo even more.

Cause businesses are led solely by money, so they try to get money in every way possible. "Free Market" has stopped being about the best for cheapest for a long time now, it's about who can manipulate the greatest number of people and blackmail them to steal their money.

Yeah, I figured it out last night and based on my data usage on my phone, this would save my family money as opposed to the $30 extra per phone we pay now for unlimited. I'd switch plans if Verizon offered this.

Pandora streaming at work alone used 5 gigs not to mention the 8 movies i streamed while traveling and all the games and apps I used the internet for. I am glad that they can't take away my unlimited since I signed a contract but still for new adapters this is a bitch.  Sure I bet the 4g is more expensive but come on. Want to do people a favor have tiered pricing 0 use = 0 under 100 mbs = 5 100-250 mbs 10 250-500 mbs 15 500 mbs - 1 gig 20 1-2 gig 25 and 2 gig plus 30 pretty simple.

However, AT&T's point is to make more money, thus they want people like you spending more than $30/mo.

I really hope Verizon doesnt cap their data and a vast majority of smartphone users move to Verizon.

AT&T's plan is quite pathetic actually and shows that they are to cheap to increase the strength of their network.

It sounds like you are talking about governments.  Really, governments and companies aren't very different.  The main difference is the governments have the monopoly on the use of force to get what they want.  Companies have to use non-forceful ways to get what they want, at least for the most part.  Sometimes governments and companies team up, and in those cases, companies are allowed to use force.
