The green isn't that bad, but I would've loved the blue, it reminds me of the old VGC site!

In case any of you folks are wondering why some of the stuff on the site is suddenly green again, that's because the CSS file responsible for changing those bits is hosted on my website, which is currently being DDoS'd.

I've updated the scripts to include the CSS rules, which means you'll have to reinstall. I apologise profusely, and I hope that the ability to change the favicon in this update makes things better.

If you install this, can you revert back to green or is it permanent?

It's not permanent, and reverting to green is as simple as disabling or uninstalling the script. You can even modify the script to your own liking, as SHMUPgurus did.

Thanks, Gnac, the forums are now infinitely better than before. I've also taken the liberty to darken the blue in the links and the main content box so the page isn't so blinding for those of us with bright monitors. I've also changed the activity feed text colour to black.

If u want the slightly darker main content box, add this under the add css overides section:

add_style_rule ("#main_content, div#thread_wrap {background-color: #f0f0f0 !important; }");
add_style_rule ("div.activity_post_text p{color: #000 !important; }");

For people unfamiliar with CSS/html, to change to the darker blue link text colour, find the tags

add_style_rule ("ul#recent_thread_list a
and
add_style_rule (".forum_footer_boxes h3, a, a:hover {

and replace the color with #2681b0 or a variant.

Really really nice, loving the cool blue a lot. Really suits my Avatar too ; )

I had a feeling that hosting the images on imageshack would bite me in the arse someday. For some reason, the site logo for the blue theme links to a blank page, so the scripts have been updated yet again to include the images in the scripts themselves (encoded with base64). As a nice side-effect, the scripts should load a little faster, since they don't have to wait for 6 requests to a crumbly image hosting service.
