yes, I think that's Quite a Mistake to Claim the "pay to play" for PSN.

Which is Not true to Make any kind of claim to that effect.

An I still think Sony's Play online will still be free. just if you want more for your playstation service, the cost would increase for those extras.

Look @ Home as an example: yes you can gather free thing's for your Avatar, but some of the ITEM'S you may want cost extra.
