I want the ablity to sort the comments by oldest to newest and view more  on a page at the same time like with the previous version... i hate reading comments in newest to oldest because most are referencing an earlier commment.

A publicly visible reason for banning needs to be reinstalled. If one is still there, i cannot find it.

Could we have the option of turning our home page on gamrconnect to a list of hot topics? I am aware of the hot topics on the right of the page but it is not easy to distinguish between consoles/different forums. I personally (And im sure a lot of others dont) dont care in the slightest about what other people are posting on other peoples walls. Generally it is part of conversations that i have no clue about.

The ' anyone read any good books recently' thread is bugged. It stays green no matter how often i go in there to look at the same comments over and over again. There's always 1 new post... NOT.

I registered just to post this, because the new website is so horrible to navigate... Please take these criticisms seriously... PLEASE!! To summarize in one word, the website is very FRAGMENTED.

I really hate how the website is now split into four. It makes navigation so much harder and overall just plainly frustrating. For example, if I'm looking at GoW3's review and I want to see its sales, I will now have to go to VGChartz first and search for GoW3 again instead of just clicking the Sales Stats tab (changing from the review tab like before). Also, the old search can search games and forum post in any page, but now search is also fragmented across the 4 sites. This same problem is very apparent in so many other things.

The new hub really lacks a lot of information the old homepage used to have. Way too little news headlines and hot topics. Also, no sales graph in the hub. Yea, it looks so much simpler and less messy now, but the amount of info lost is so ridic.

Make it so that I can middle-click all the links to open in new tab. Just seriously... WTF? Tab browsing has become so ubiquitous now; it's just silly having so many links not middle-clickable. Some links can be middle clicked, but the old tab also opens the link (e.g. in gamrFeed). This applies to both chrome and firefox. Also, all the pages load very slowly even on a really fast internet connection. I think the way you code the website has some serious fundamental flaws...

The old consoles sales graph was so much better, with hovering to change regions and stuff.

Searching in VGCharts searchs for articles instead of games by default. I mostly search for games to see sales stats and stuff.

Searching in the forum can only search for members and not forum threads. Perhaps I just can't find how to search threads because that would just be incredibly ridiculous. Even if there is a way already, make it more obvious.

The new website looks good graphically, but there are serious flaws with everything else other than graphics.

Sorry I'm very critical, but the new website is just horrible. Other than some degree of minimalism, this is a stepback in every way.

for something better. this is some thoughts i have, i hope they are not too anti-evolutionary.


1st. can we come back from the hub thing? I mean can we have everything in a single page? readying the replies i understand people preferred 2.0 mainly because of that.

the problem with 2.0 was it was too slow, i guess.


2nd. the colors code is indeed much elegant now, although is less readable. if we take the figures section the everything gray is not as clear as the blue for nintendo polices for example. Also limited space for text and size of polices is not way balanced.



3rd. i cannot have a long list of last forum posts, only by theme.  so i cannot find the last bullshit people are writing which was really fun.

Someone sent me a friend request

the problem was that it showed up as three friend requests, then when i accepted one of them, the dude showed up in my friend list as three separate individuals. so then i wanted to remove the other two so i clicked "remove friend"... now he's gone from my friend list and i can't add him either

can you guys help??
