This is kinda old but, with the new title update 6, gears 2 is finally fixed! shotgun are better, and there is no lag. also, it only takes 10 seconds to get into a game! I made this thread to inform you guys so you'd know to go back to it...

The "there is no lag" part isn't exactly true. There are still matches that I lag all over the map and can't do anything in. But hey, at least there's fewer of the "his shotgun is better than my shotgun" deaths that are quite annoying.

Glad I wasnt the only one having a bad time. Stopped playing it for ages before this came out, only played a few games of the update but still felt much better

Exactly, and there are much much much better options for MP games than Gears 2.

If only this had been avaliable when I playing the game! No gold now, but I am happy they fixed it even if it is very long overdue

I don't know about rest of the europe but there was pretty neat promotion today in live. One month of Gold for one euro. I bought it of course.
