| LOVEoo said: In all honestly I can't even imagine how this connects to Xenoblade. The style looks NOTHING like Xenoblades They also haven't shown an ounce of CG in any of the many videos, screens, and scans. Everyone is just doing wishful thinking that its related to KOS-MOS so I'll do some of my own and hope that its a teaser to an all new game. Not likely but it's something I would really like, just like all of you hoping this is related to KOS-MOS. |
This doesn't even make sense. Why would a commercial for Xenoblade be a teaser for another game entirely?
Fact of the matter is that this is identical to KOS-MOS' armor. It may not be the character (though she's found herself getting cameos in tons of games in the past few years), but it's pretty obvious that this is supposed to be the equivalent for this game. The commercial holds no meaning without the connection. It would just be a random shot of a person in armor, but the fact that the site has an accompanying 360 image of the character implies that they want you to take note.

So there goes that supposed confirmation that there was no linkage between the two. Though this could mean anything realistically.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
New details on the commercial:
- woman in the commercial is JPOP group AKB48 member Mayu Watanabe
- Watanabe will appear in more commercials for the game
- the name of this spot is "Body of a Machine"
- the song featured is the Xenoblade end theme song
- Watanabe's line in the commercial translates roughly into "I want you to use this body as much as you want."
- Nintendo says that phrase has great significance in the game
