Well, that is wrong. Cartoons like Bugs Bunny were created for adults, for the theater, even if they were suitable for kids to. They aren't kids things.
As far as Megaman goes, do you know who is the MOST interested in Megaman now, the 2D version? Well, it is adults who grew up on them. They aren't games for kids, eventhough kids can play them. They are retro, and retro has the most appeal to adults who grew up on them. So now, Megaman is adults.
Both Megaman and Looney Toons are appropriate for kids and adults, so you can say they are "family" friendly.
