I just hope that you are not one of those people who cannot realize the greatness that Bethesda brought to the Fallout franchise and that are still crying because Interplay didn't get to make Fallout 3.

They shouldn't have made a Fallout sequel to begin with, it should've remained the way it is. Sometimes, some game series don't need a comeback, the results are usually quite bad.

See? The real name for this thread should be "Fallout 3 sucked and shouldn't have been made" instead of what you wrote. Obsidian = Interplay + Fallout = Bethesda.

I beg to differ with you, I am happy that Bethesda continued Fallout and thjat they have brought their gaming mechanics to Fallout. I recognize that there is a very deep and immersive storyline in the previous Fallouts that is not matched with Fallout 3 but I find that battle system boring as hell and what Bethesda did with Fallout 3 was taking that atmosphere and putting a battle system I could like (coming from someone who has been playing since the Super Nintendo and who is not a #1 fan of FPS).

Now that Obsidian and some of the people who used to work with the original Fallout are behind Fallout New Vegas we may see great things with them building up from that which Bethesda did.

You don't have to agree with me. Our opinions can exist at the same time. This is more like a space to express myself and enjoying while at it without having that asshole Ausir getting in conversation and abusing of his powers as administrator in trying to create the illusion that his OPINION (OPINION) is more valid than that of the rest. God, that guy is an asshole.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

hes not administrator...

Just face the truth dude. Obsidian is only a slightly above average developer who mostly get to make second-rate expansions. Kinda like what Treyarch was to Infinity Ward.

I am sure it will show in Fallout Vegas too. It will not reach Fallout 3 level of quality and reviews.

I bet they had their second team develop Alpha Protocol the while main team is making Fallout Vegas.

I didn't read any reviews or previews before Fallout 3 came out. I played it like 8 months after it came out and the game blew me away. One of my favorites.

Fallout 3 was great but it was so damn depressing .

the only people you can trust these days for reviews are actual gamers on youtube. some are credible, not always but theyr better and less bias then gamespot and ign, i listen to their reviews but dont look at the score.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

I stopped listening to reviews after Sonic Unleased got like 4/10 on IGN and I honestly enjoyed it more than Gears of war 2...

I am also picking up ALpha protocol so I'll see if the aiming is broken first hand. It can't be any more broken than in MAss Effect 1 :)

You enjoyed Sonic Unleashed more than Gears of War 2?! I can understand how you feel about the multi-player (Believe me, I feel the same too), but the single-player defined the word "Epic" and horde mode was the shiznit!

The daytime Sonic levels for Unleash were fantastic, but they were few and far between. Most of the time, you were playing a shitty God of War clone. As for Mass Effect, the game did have great polish and great game design, but the shooting for the game was also clumsy and imprecise (But not random). I don't think Alpha Protocol will be as enjoyable as the Mass Effect series, but I believe that it will be a good distraction. Seems to have a better dialogue system than Mass Effect.

Gears 2 single player was good...when you were allowed to actually control the character and play. It kept stopping every 30 seconds to have in game cut scenes or story moments which were almost insulting peoples intelligence. Horde mode was solid and I spent most of my time playing that...otherwise SP was way better in Gears 1. Gears 2 only picks up with solid chunks of gameplay in the last 2 chapters. For the first 6 hours its army this, dig this, worm this, maria that...blah blah blah.

As shitty as werehog levels were, Sonic Unleashed had meaty gameplay moments that were challenging, which is what I want in a game. Some of those later Sonic levels kicked my ass so hard(Ps360 version)... Not to mention you could skip in game cut scenes...

Not saying Sonic Unleashed is a better game than gears 2. Just that I enjoyed it more as I really don't care for story and "visuals" in most games.

Yeah. I would've gone insane without the radio.

How was it depressing??

Please no spoilers as I haven't finished the main quest.

Well, I personally don't know anything about the game but I went to destructoid (My favorite review site after VGC) to see what they gave it. If destructoid gave it a 2, I believe the game is that bad.

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

"I haven't played Alpha Protocol yet, but I'm sure it will be a pretty good game that isn't as flawed as critics make it out to be"

Gave up reading right there. Telling people who have played it how it should be when you havent? Interesting outlook on life there
