Seems to me that the rest of the article or conversation ( or interview ) is not shown. He is referring to something he was shown and said 2 years ago.

How is this 2 year old news even worthy of news today? Surely considering the good reception NAtal has had makes hos comment from 2 years ago nullified?

As an outgoing excutive Bach has said the exact opposite and if anything this generation has taught us that is it not playing to the standard console rule book.

Natal will not be just another peripheral it will in fact be a lot more as others in the industry have already pointed out. Microsoft are treating this almost as a relaunch and to be honest even it is shit or expensive I is still probably unlikely to fail although defination of failure of a peripheral is going to be hard to define.

I guess the Wii has the best line up of failed and highly successful peripherals of the 3 at the moment.
