Niiiccce.. Thanks for the input everyone. So I think I'm going with the 80 gig model, (there's one for $220 on amazon), with Uncharted, LBP, and MLB The Show. I think I'm also going to pick up Demon Souls a little later down the road. And Flower and Fat Princess from the PSN. This should last me quite awhile :)

Games to get would be U2, KZ2, MAG, Heavy Rain, Infamous, WKC, MGS4, Folkore, LBP seems like a waste since 2 is coming soon... Yea definitely get flower. SSHD, wipoutHD, and siren are all worth their dollar as well.

Lot's of love for demon's souls, i never got too into it myself I have it and it seems like too much of an undertaking.

Sadly, the previous recommendations pretty much covered EVERYTHING as far as exclusives go.

Uncharted and LBP are good choices for starters! I bought ten games with my PS3 but it didn't cost me more than about 250$ all in all with the stellar Platinum line up.
Also recently got Red Dead Redemption, which is by far the best game I've played this year and probably among the five best I've played this entire generation, and this is from a guy that didn't really like GTA IV.

I have a 40 GB HDD, so trust me that you don't need a bigger one.

You can pick up the Show 09 and 08 for about $10 now but the thing is they don't have online play anymore. If you don't care for the online then get 09. The Show 10 is a must buy since it have online and more features and if you like baseball you will love it. Oh and it's the best MLB out.

You say you don't care for MGS4 but I recommend you try it. It's a great game. At least rent it.
