Uncharted and LBP are good choices for starters! 
I bought ten games with my PS3 but it didn't cost me more than about 250$ all in all with the stellar Platinum line up.
Also recently got Red Dead Redemption, which is by far the best game I've played this year and probably among the five best I've played this entire generation, and this is from a guy that didn't really like GTA IV.
