Slipknot bassist Paul Gray found dead

Slipknot bassist Paul Gray was found dead in an Iowa hotel room early this morning.

According to the Des Moines Register, the 38-year-old's body was discovered by an employee at the TownePlace Suites who reported the death to the Urbandale Police Department.

There was no evidence of foul play, though an investigation is still pending.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

I disagree that this particular death is bad for metal, but it's still sad. Especially with him having a baby on the way.
