God of war 1 sold - 3.73 Million

God of war 2 sold - 3.40 Million

God of war 3 sold - 2.38 Million     (AND COUNTING)

i don't bet cus my dog says betting is bad but if badgenome forced me to bet I'd say GOW3 will be the best selling one

Of course it can. And why? Well... I live in Germany and I didn't really see any ads for God of War 1 and 2 a few years ago (well... you don't see many game ads in general here), but I've seen a few of God of War 3. That could be the first reason.

Another one is probably that GoW 1 was released when we were almost in the 7th console gen (2005) and that GoW 2 was released when all three next gen consoles had already been released.

So I think it will be the best selling God of War game.

yeah i guess GOW2 sales were hurt by being released so late in the cycle.

I think no piracy on PS3 might be another reason why its doing so well!
