its an opinion , i own a PS3 but my favorite game isn't GTA nor Uncharted 2

OT: good review and very informative, my only gripe with the review is that you you didn't offer much constructive crticisms.

It seems I'll pick it up after exams. cant wait.

While the game is good, I do not think it has the best graphics on the 360, Gears 2 is still the best imo. I thought the game would be scarier (maybe it gets better only just got into episode 5 now) but Silent Hill and the older RE games still are higher on the scary level for me anyhow.

The one gripe I have about the game is the cut-scenes where the characters are talking, for a game in development this long, I would have thought that the mouth would have synced up to the words being spoken.

Good review. Nice to see you kept it clean out of the "console warz" bullshit and only compared it to things that it should be compared too (other tri/horror games, 360 games, etc)

I knew you would give this a 10/10 and after reading this, I have no doubt to you, it deserved every point it received. Good job keeping it clean. Its a shame more cannot do this.

The game has it's scary moments, yes. Things don't necessarily "jump" out at you, but you can be hit suddenly from nowhere and that's where it goes from "creepy" to "oh shit"!

If anything, that's what makes it so appealing, at least to horror crazies like me. :P

But, as I am sure I have written before, I am certainly not a horror crazy

game is too easy lol... thats the only thing i don't like about alan wake.
oh btw the atmosphere is cool reminds me of THE BEST GAME OF 2009 DEMON SOULS

What difficulty are you playing on? On hard I've had a few close calls, nothing impossible but enough to keep the tension and atmosphere going
