Not even close to best ever (and not even close to the best MGS, which is 3) to me.

But a good game, maybe too much (waaay too much) cutscenes and way too little gameplay.

yeah the game is really exceptional but from a gameplay view
I had more fun with mgs 3 and looks like peace walker will be bettter



Nintendo made me a gamer so I'd be stupid to ever try to forget that                                             like so many people nowadays

Best gameplay, i enjoy stealth. but i dont enjoy crawling foward, then crawling forward, then crawling forward... then cutscene, then crawling foward, then crawling foward etc. i think its pretty obvious where i'm going with this. sometimes it was good, but most of the time it was crawling foward and cutscenes, so really sleep inducing.

The best story in the series, erm. what, that convoluted mess had a story?? i had to watch hour upon hour of cutscene, only to realise that it led to a showdown with liquid snake in revolver ocelots body. that in itself made no sense.

yeah the music was decent and the graphics are awesome. but very far from perfection. and this game isnt revolutionary, yes the octocamo was cool, but crawling foward and cutscenes have been done to death in the 2nd & 3rd MGS games, and it sucked then as well. i'm just glad that this series has stoped being milked.

It is my favorite game of all time at this point.

Though Demon's Souls is really, really close.

To PS3 owners that do not have this game, you owe it to your PS3 to pick up this game as it was meant to be played in its PS3 glory.

As well PS3 owners, this game is currently and could be the last greatest 3rd party exclusive in history. (We'll have to wait and see about FF Versus XIII)

.....And dont be a cheap bastard its only $29.99 or less...commonnnnn =P
