No way that Lost Planet 2 sold almost as much as Alan Wake. Sorry, I don't believe that at all.

I'm actually not super surprised. I mean, doesn't Lost Planets's gameplay lend itself to more mass appeal? Just a guess though.

In all the official charts that have arriwed so far (UK, Germany, Denmark, Ireland) Alan Wake easily outsold the combined PS360 sales of LP2.
And in my country Sweden, Alan Wake is a big title, while LP2 is seen as a garbage game.
PS3 can at least say it's up YoY, but a very slow week for everybody in Others, anyway, not even decent SW sales could keep it up.
The Euro is close to its lowest point ever compared to the Japanese Yen. I wonder what impact the might have on pricing and sales in Europe. If the slide continues, Nintendo and Sony are going to have to make less or raise prices.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
On a positive side PS3 software is up 184% compared to the same week last year.......
