Playstation move will launch this September! Says the head of Gadget show

Recently he tweeted: "another thing I was meaning to say. Sept for PlayStation Move!!! I'm sure of it. Can't say why. Just.. September 2010."

Does he know something we dont? Did he somehow get some leaked SONY info from e3 saying the launch for PS MOVE is in september? WHO KNOWS! But it would be very smart for sony to do this since NATAL releases in November, and having a head start (for once this gen) could boost PS move's popularity..

I guess we'll find out at e3.. but what do you think?

Let's hope that doing so will help its popularity instead of making it seem older than NATAL :P (even though there's only a 2 months gap between the two so maybe that won't happen)

The smartest thing to do would be to offer a bundle Move + Gran Turismo 5 both launching on the same day.

I think I know exactly what they're going to do in the US..

they are making a MLB THE SHOW 2010 bundle with the PS3 250gb for $349..

I think they may add the PS MOVE in there.. I mean it would be smart.. for core baseball fans. Then again it would be better to bundle move party or w.e they are making.

Either way, I'd love for a September release.. They should save GT5 for after COD black ops, and all those big games release, so they can have an entire winter hyped for GT5.

Natal will release in October according to that MS guy in Saudi Arabia.

So Move only gets a 1 month head-start, which means nothing. But they're very different devices, the success of Natal will depend on it's own merits.

Good but I have no reason to buy it.

It needs a killer app at launch, a game that can capture peoples imagination.

I don't know if they can do that, E3 will shed light on this, so far I don't care about SOCOM & I'm not interested in the party games

Basically SONY work on an RPG & Racing game with move...make them amazing & move will take off in Europe & Japan.

you should have titled this thread, Ps3 moves release date "on the move" to September! it would have been so much better
