The shovelware excuse. Yeah ask those same guys what console they owned last gen. Most likely the PS2 the only console to have more crap than the Wii.

Trolls and haters are usually single console owners and they dont really know anything about the console, they just know it doesnt carry their company name. Just looking back at some of the responses from people who claim to own one is funny too.

Red Steel was a bad game, but the FPS controls worked fine, it was all the bugs and bad AI that made it a poor game.

It's telling that most of you haters never used a Wii even though some claim to. I sit and relaxe and play every game I own and have no control problems at all. You guys just think because you see someone pointing in a commercial thats it must be that way and you havent actually sat down with one and actually looked at just to play.

Well, apart of the jumping pointer I also enjoyed the game because it was the first pointer controls FPS.

I had one a few years ago in college. My roommate dropped the TV on it while moving now (TV was fine, but pancake'd Wii's are terrible). He paid me for it ($150 at the time) and I just never bought another one.

I received mine for Christmas so technically I didnt buy mine. If I had the money I would buy a black Wii :).

I don't know, I played TP on Wii before I ever touched Windwaker and I really wished that I had the Wii's pointing control for shooting stuff, it was just much faster and accurate.

just for archery/longshot

The question is stupid because I bought a Wii. That's like asking why gras is blue.

Also, I actually bought 3 Wiis so I can play on the loo and in the kitchen while cooking.

That's awesome. It plays games, allows you to surf the internet and helps you get girls....I thought the PS3 was supposed to be the console that did everything.
