Forums - PC - Fable III Coming to PC

Sad day for fanboys, great day for gamers.

Interesting comment, looking over at what game systems you have under your user name there.  No 360 console among your list.  So, did you also think Final Fantasy XIII going on the 360 was a great day for gamers to?

I'm getting Xbox in a month time (if my cash flow can handle it this soon), since there are games that I'd really like to play. But I enjoy RPGs more on PC, be it Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Witcher or pretty much any other RPG. I don't care about Final Fantasy one bit, for all I care, it can be Xbox exclusive.

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising

There's no reason for this not to come to the pc. Fable 2 was a 360 exclusive, any fable fan already owns an xbox because of it. Fable 3 won't be a system seller. Bringing it to the pc will expand the fan base and possibly sell more systems when they make fable 4 exclusive for the next gen xbox.

brilliant news

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Good to see games still going to the PC.

Hopefully MS will fix GFWL (very doubtful) if they make use of it. Such a good idea, implemented so poorly.

So Fable III will be going to PC even though Fable II didn't, despite the fact that it is supposed to be one of their key Natal titles? I don't buy it. Besides, the 360 version of the game would not be advertising the PC version. Just like a PS360 game doesn't say on the box "Only on PS3 and Xbox 360".

Not that I particularly care one way or the other.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Bioschock european boxart before PS3 version was announced.

Does it make any sense to have Fable 1 and 3 on PC, but not Fable 2?
Anyway, MS wants Windows 7 to succeed, after Vista's horrible failure, so pushing again games on PC is a sensible move.

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

Meh.

The first one was dull, and the second one was bollocks. Dunno why I should give a toss about the third one, or Molyneux for that matter.

I hope so I liked the first on PC. But the fact that the second didn't come out means that we wouldn't have access to the import Fable 2 saves and they will probably use the bad sales to say PC games don't sell even tho the fact that Fable 2 didn't come out means that the fanbase is mostly on the 360 oh well...
