Not impressed even if it happens on that date it took the Wii less then 9 month to outsell the 360. Also the 360 still will have a substantial lead in games that sold over a million by March 2011.

i predicted 2 years ago for 2011, so i stay to my prediction. Though i wish to 360 stay on top forever!!!

But that first table is not including holidays, game launches, SKUs etc, so you never know.

Holidays alone the PS3 could outsell the X360 by a couple hundred thousand in a week easily. So throwing all that into equation and we could see the PS3 outselling it at the latest Summer of 2011.

Gilgamesh...Hmm if I recall correctly there were Holidays the last 12 months even the last 6 months. The 360 will have SKU changes, game launches as well. I sense that there still is the thought that GT5 will push millions of PS3s. Sorry not going to happen. When the PS3 has 40 million consoles on the street and 4 million already having GT5P means the impact just wont be much.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Well apparently from a Game Thirst survey they found that 39% of future GT5 owners don't even own a PS3 yet and that's just the US, I bet it'd be higher in Others.

The average you calculated on the past 12 months is IMVHO the best to use as base for predictions, as it includes every period of the year, slumps, boosts, etc, with their effects on gaps (the average on the last 3 months is biased down by after Easter slump, the one on the last 6 is biased up by Xmas). So, if PS3 manages to stay ahead after both Sony and MS will have played their best cards, a period of some months centered around Dec 2011 could be a first rough guess.

2016, the ten year plan will work. There will be a Wii HD in 2012 and sales of the Wii will stop at 100 million. The PS3 will continue to sell and will finish at 104 million LTD.

We know very little of the 3DS and PSP2 so it's impossible to say the 3DS is going to outsell the PSP2 right now, no one knows that, nobody thought the Wii was going to be top console of this gen a year before it's release so how can anyone say the 3DS will dominate next gen? But obviously I want the PSP2 to win, I am a Sony fan. But this is completely off topic so I'll stop.
