I despise Pachter. He can't admit he got the Wii HD call wrong, so he's claiming PS Move is pretty much Wii HD, therefore making him right. He predicted Nintendo would need Wii HD on the market, and that Nintendo would bring Wii HD to the market. He got it completely fucking wrong.

The worst thing is he claims Nintendo are in trouble because of Apple, and that no-one sees this coming because of the mentality of the industry. I don't doubt Apple will prove tough competition for Nintendo, but Nintendo have (as people on these forums said) zagged while everyone else zigged. The mentality of the industry ignored Nintendo and their reasons for success, and Pachter is doing this again even as he claims Apple will beat out Nintendo.

And not only do they have Vitality Sensor, they have the safer bet of Wii Party. Two big products for the casual market, 3DS and Zelda at E3 does not mean Nintendo are bringing nothing to E3. That's a small portion of what Nintendo will bring to E3. Vitality Sensor/Wii Party will appeal to the wider market, Zelda will appeal to the core and 3DS will excite the market as a whole. Vitality Sensor may not excite the industry or Pachter, but neither did the balance board. Motion Plus didn't get a brilliant reception at E3, but that hasn't stopped Nintendo. Nintendo can't be dismissed as easily as Pachter likes to pretend.

Pachter is a moron when it comes to Nintendo. He really does seem to have some agenda against their continuing success. Is it because they consistently prove him wrong?

This guy is almost always wrong with his predictions. Why he gets this attention from some sites?

Christ, why doesn't Patcher just say "I HATE NINTENDO" and be done with it already.

You see? He can bend reality to fit his predictions. We previously thought Steve Jobs was a demi-god for his Reality Distortion Field, Pachter is even stronger, he isn't just able to bend macaques' perception of reality, but reality itself!!!    

I think that he might be right going by the "He has to be right eventually theory".
