The more ridiculous delay, Zelda Wii or Gran Turismo 5?

Zelda for sure 9 12.33%

Gran Turismo 5 definitely 42 57.53%

Neither 3 4.11%

Wait until E3 7 9.59%

I want them to be perfect 10 13.70%

They both suck monkey nipples 2 2.74%

Total:73

I'll make it quick

Zelda...hasn't been one since 2006 and rumors speculate that it will get pushed into 2011. Bad enough, whenever Nintendo reveals a console Zelda, it almost always gets delayed.

Gran Turismo 5- Supposedly could've been released anytime last year, but it is about "90%" complete now. Was announced or hinted at in like 2005 but alas no solid release date.

Both games are supposed to be absolutely perfect, but seeing as to how a developer would have better luck just releasing the damn thing and improving it in a sequel 2 years from now from the remaining assets, I beg to differ lol But seriously, these are huge franchises and they are taking forever to release.

Which delay is more ridiculous?

From what I read in another thread:

Kirby is also a candidate for ridiculous delays

and of course: Duke Nukem Forever

Neither have been delayed seriously have they? It's just they have been wanted for a loooooooooooooong time.

GT5's Japan release date was pushed back but... That's it isn't it?

Anyway... I say wait until E3. I expect (hope) both will be out this Holiday.

GT5 because it got delayed gazillion of times, but Zelda was just announced (they don't even have a name for it yet or a trailer)

Not really time to talk about delays for Zelda when we haven't even seen any pictures of it yet.

GT5, or FFXIII for that matter, now that is a totaly different story.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Is it a delay if it never had a release date?

Zelda didn't have a release window until a few weeks ago, and I don't see any reason it will be delayed yet. I'm not sure about GT5 specifics but I don't think it had a release year until late last year when it was said to release next year (2010)---- Edit, am I wrong about this? was it meant to release in 2009 for Japan?

Until one of them is confirmed to not release in 2010, then neither has been delayed as far as the public are concerned. If you are talking about development delays then I don't think anyone can doubt GT5 is the more likely candidate for them (not that we will ever know about them)

GT5 as it's had release dates and got pushed back

Zelda Wii is more like FFXIII vs... announced a long long time ago, but nothing concrete given that I know of in release dates other than speculation from other party's

Yeah, I've gotta go with GT5 for this one. Zelda has never had a release date nor have we seen anything of the game, until this year we didn't even have a launch window.

Even though GT5 may have only had tentative release dates, it's had a few now and we've been seeing trailers forever.

Like stated earlier, Zelda only had one picture revealed about it. Not only that, but the structure of the game is supposedly changing- a formula that has been established for ~10 years is being altered; that might take a while.

At least GT5 had some trailers, some proof development was coming along.

It has taken a while, the Zelda game will have been in development since Wiis launch (well "research" that early on)

Difference is Nintendo doesn't officially announce the game 4 years before it gets released.
