I like how it got a 6 when only 1 of the categories was below 7... thanks IGN for another crappy review.

It's a crappy review because you think it's weighted badly? Maybe it's a 6 because the gameplay is so average (even poor). The gameplay got a score of 5, which was really brought up to a 6 with the other positive factors in the game. Still, good graphics and sound won't save it from unimpressive gameplay. And did you even read the review, or just base your comment off the score? Chrissakes.

Seems to be pretty "meh" scores all around. Capcom should really stop tone down their efforts to appeal to western gamers. Sure, it was cool with games like Dead Rising, but at other times it isn't too great.

I think Capcom should have turned this over to a western developer, from all the reviews I have read, they seem to have made some horrible decisions.

Well overall it seems to get pretty much the same reviews as the first one.
Considering I really liked the first one (8.5 in my book) I will still get it.

IGN UK reviewed the game:-

6.8/10

I love when Capcom tries to make western-style games, and fails miserably

Isn't Resident Evil 4/5 western style?

Around the Network

Capcom has lost its touch, from Onimusha and Resident Evil Remake (two masterpieces) to Lost Planet 2 and Dark Void.

They expect Lost Planet 2 to sell 3.7 million units worldwide, good luck.

RE5 is deffinitly western-style, and it sucks hard.

Still gonna try this game anyways, I've learned not to trust the majority of IGN's reviews.

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

i don't really know what happened i enjoyed the first demo a lot, but the second demo its really a pain to play, its like Capcom decided that the demo was too good for us puny gamers.

- Wasteland - The Mission.

It always looked very mediocre. I'm glad it's reflected in the reviews.
