PS3 fan here. i don't think those scores are low at all. i wasn't expect less than 9.5 thow.

lol Every time there is a thread strictly discussing the critic reviews, someone comes to the thread and then acts shocked when people are discussing critic reviews.  And, it's always this same "who cares what they think" comment.  SOME PEOPLE CARE.  If you don't want to discuss this topic don't come to the thread about it.

Tha's because "reasonable" ps3 fans care about games first and foremost.  PS3 is by far my favorite console but I love games no matter what console they're on that's why I paid over a grand to have all three.  I was excited about Alan Wake because I was hoping for it to raise the bar in it's genre.  And it may still, but the reviews are much less than I was expecting so I'm very very very disappointed.

As expected. It got way to much hype IMO. Its no graphical god and its not reinventing the wheel, but all reviewers agree that its tons of fun So have fun playing it, I will have to miss out for at least a while, especially with no PC version

U sure, i read the review, and it doesn't say it looks as good as U1, it says its as good as U1, but has its flaws like it

I thought it would be for a long time, especially bc of all the hype it was getting. Maybe not everyone thought this, but I think many ppl did at the same time. I kind of realized otherwise until right before reviews started piling in. But even though I realized it wasn't going to blow everyone away like I originally thought, I never thought the game would score this low...
