What have they been doing for the past few months? Come on, release the dam game already
Sounds to me like good ol' feature creep, the poison of many projects. I guess for PD given the money they received (and still receive) from the success of GT5P, there is no financial pressure to get this game released, so they can fund the development time taken to add that 'one last feature'. I'm fairly sure this will be the first gen where we only get 1 set of GTP and GT.

I honestly don't understand. Alan Wake has been polished for over a year. Do people rant about it? No, no they don't because it looks awesome.
Just wait a bit more for one of the best racing games ever made. Untill then you can buy Blur, Split/Second and Modnation Racers.
^ it will all depend on how good the game is. I just do not see why people are going to crazy over this. Isn't this time frame normal for a GT game, even on psone and ps2? I mean cmon guys, they built the engine from scratch.

maybe thats what they're waiting for - a confirmation on either Natal launch date, x360 slim launch date or both...until then it's polish time.

GT5 was announced 4 years ago. They claimed they could release it whenever they want to in 2009. They then claimed a March 2010 release. GT is a +10m franchise, Alan Wake isn't. I think it's pretty easy to understand why people might be upset a game they've been waiting for years for keeps getting delayed.
If you want to know why people aren't ranting about Alan Wake on this website, it's cause they don't care.

GT was released in Dec 97 (japan dates for easy comparison). GT2 was out in Dec 99. GT3 was out in Apr 01. As far as I can tell the game was announced 1-2 years before release every time. It wasn't until 4, PSP and 5 that massive delays and long dev times plauged the series.
