Naw, I think the patterm's pretty much set in stone at this point...

New FF games = PlayStation consoles (and now Xbox consoles for the west)

New FF remakes = Nintendo handhelds (hello FFVI 3DS!)

Old FF ports = console download services, PlayStation handhelds, iPhone OS, JP mobiles

I would much rather have an FFVII on the 3DS. FFVII was meant to be on a Nintendo console in the first place.
