You get 90 days on your repair/refurb. That's in North America, where I assume you're from. In some countries it's longer.

Call customer service again since two months haven't passed since you wrote this. And try to be diplomatic rather than accusatory. Customer service reps have to listen to stories like yours all day, every day.

Failing that, find a local repair service if you are unable to do the YLoD repair yourself. Detailed guides are online if you want to learn how to do it yourself.

It goes without saying that you immediately back up your data when you get the console working again.

It also goes without saying that any data that is "irreplaceable" should be backed up at least once. It's one of those common sense things that you should now be a firm believer in.

i personally expect this type of service from every manufacturer of any electronic product.

Expext this out of a giant bueracracy, corporation they are not your friend they want your money. Also shit breaks, my pc has been f'd for months and I cant fix it and I still know its a good product.
