Can Bungie Surpass God Of War 3 Using PS3? Sources Say _____

Killzone 2 Superbowl ad, 1.1 million pre-orders for KZ2 in Europe alone, Bioshock 2 being a PS3 timed exclusive, GTA5 being a PS3 exclusive, and oh god I just don't care to go on. He makes shit up all the time. If he were right more often than wrong people wouldn't care. Makingmusic, an admitted PS3 fan, will lock threads started off of his rumors. The man has zero credibility, and buying into any of his rumors is little more than wishful thinking.

To the best of my knowledge RE4 on the GC never used pre-rendered cut scenes. That is all in-game essentially. I know the PS2 version had to cut that back along with some other stuff, but not the original game. Bungie is not a graphical powerhouse dev studio. Halo 3 should show this pretty convincingly if nothing else. I don't see why thats an issue though. The games likely won't be the best looking games, but will be a blast for those that like the genre I am sure.

I'm not arguing that Bungie is a graphical powerhouse (as yourself and others have stated they're not), but I think they should be given credit for what they acheived with Halo 2 on X-box. Technically Halo 2 was a pretty big leap from Halo 1, especially on the same console. Arguably more impressive than the jump to Halo 3 which was just an increase in scale and resolution with HDR due to the increased power of 360.

You're letting your ignorance show in a large way here.

Graphics are not the only thing that push the limits and capacities of a system.  Bungie did things with Halo 2 on the original Xbox that most companies can't match yet.  

You know - good innovative games HAVE been made exclusively for non-Sony systems.  I know it's shocking.  But it IS ok to acknowledge it.  It will only hurt for a moment.

Don't forget him saying the Splinter Cell Conviction demo was coming out in January! The only things I've ever seen him right about are things that someone else predicted and he bandwagoned it.

Yes, he just "makes everything up"....and many other credible sources just follow suit? I don't think so. Everyone just goes along with the information they get. He never just out of the blue "makes up news to get hits". Sure, he's been wrong, but as I just posted all these links, those sites were wrong too (except the 1.1M preorders because that was stated from Sony themselves). Do they now lose all credibility and should have threads locked if they're mentioned?

But i have to agree Bungie are more about solid, quality gameplay more than graphical ability. They develop HUGE games that has so much to offer, more than any other game thats ever been released. They set the tone for multiplayer games even until this day & no other developers have surpassed their innovative abilities. With Halo Reach they are about to set a whole new Benchmark which will make GOW3 become history very quickly, so Bungie have NOTHING to prove!

Bungie isn't going to make an exclusive for Sony, so the chances are extremely slim since Sony will get the multiplatform titles.

To the best of my knowledge, yes they followed him on the Killzone 2 ad and Bioshock 2 being a timed exclusive. Regardless you have not proven a point, or even remotely supported yours. Other new sources parroting a bad rumor does not make him credible. You claimed he was right more than wrong, and have yet yo do anything to support that claim. There is a SHORT list of what he has gotten completely, and totally wrong in this thread right now. There is not one thing listed that he has gotten right. When a guy who hypes Sony products can't get Darthdevidm* to support him then something is seriously wrong.

*No offense meant to Darth in this post. He is just the only person off the top of my head that I remember calling himself a Sony fanboy even after it was deemed an insult on this site. If he sees this, and finds it offensive, I will gladly edit it out. For the record I am a proud Treasure fanboy, and don't see it as all that insulting.
