So there was a time when I owned a 360 when ps3 had no games and all my friends had 360s anyway but i ended up selling my 360 and buying a guitar and when the time came to own a system again i bought a ps3 (cause after all i could play most 360 games on my pc anyway) BUT something has been bothering me

Theres nothing like halo!

At first when i had halo and when i played it before i thought it was a good game nothing super AMAZING but something fun BUT recently i've been hankering for a scifi shooter something a bit UNREALISTIC unlike bad company 2 or counterstrike or killzone something where i CAN jump 30 feet in the air and unload a clip into someone then bash them.

theres NOTHING! or is there? i need your help! i cant find a game ps3 or PC that can satisfy my hunger for halo! 

also i really didnt like the first 2 halos but i thought 3 was great fun! and NOW with halo:reach comming im really wondering IS halo IN FACT an AMAZING game? is it In fact INNOVATIVE? MUCH more so than other games that i CANT FIND ANY game LIKE IT?

I mean TRIBES was AMAZING back in the ps2/xbox age but that community is dead and i want something more modern and Halo:reach seams to be the answer! BUT I DONT WANT TO BUY AN XBOX AND PAY FOR ONLINE D:

I KNOW there are games better... I JUST CANT FIND THEM so HELP ME COMMUNITY STOP ME FROM BUYING AN XBOX

well if you only play fps u not a real gamer and missin out on alot of good games

but to answer ur question on ps3 try resistance or for pc some unreal tournament or quake
I know they are old games but theres still people playin them

Moddern warfare falls into the realm of Realistic shooters (also perks are minihacks) and Resistance just dosnt cut it.

I may have to give quake and unreal tournament another try but in my experience i dont think they are quite the same.

Have you tried Section 8? It's very Halo meets Tribes. I'm not sure what the online community is like these days, but it's available on PC and PS3.

It's even available on your eventual Xbox 360.

Plenty of games, but within the sci-fi FPS genre? I'd struggle to think of many.

What about Unreal Tournament? It's even more unrealistic and ridiculous then Halo. Also with the PC mods it's pretty amazing.

well not NECISSARILY sci-fi but something in the realm of NOT 4-5 bullet death 

There's suppossed to be a new Timesplitters game coming out soon.
