I do have a favorite game this gen. Metroid Prime Trilogy. We all have a different tastes in games. I'm just trying to get a gamer's perspective on what the appeal of Heavy Rain is. Essentaily I'm asking why, with no judgement attached.

I don't have any single game that is my favorite. But I do have a few that are tied for different reasons.

1. Muramasa: The Demon Blade (Wii)
2. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
4. Kirby's Canvas Curse (DS)

I suspect this list is going to change soon however with quite a few major games coming out. Most notably Dragon Quest IX, Metroid Other M and possibly Super Mario Galaxy 2.

1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl - it's given me the most enjoyment. 1200 hours to be exact. And also because Snake's in it and it's his best selling game. XD

2. Super Mario Galaxy - not much to say about this game beside that it's one of the best games ever and it's got awesome music.

3. Metal Gear Solid 4 - the end fight is one of the best fights ever.

I'll probably add Monster Hunter 3 when I complete it because it's that good.
