Well I don't understand their logic for becoming friends with Activison. But how are they dead to you? They haven't even made a new game yet. Just because they aren't soloey linked to MSFT and have exclusive console dev doesn't mean they are dead.

i think they are very mad right now looking at their current statement, oh well it means the possiblity of a great new ip surfacing and being available to ps3 and x360

I can only dream of the damage control going on at M$ right now. We all know Acti are going to make Bun do PS3 games, how many PS3 or XB360 exclusives have Acti published this gen? I think its none. But to be fair if MS really wanted to keep Bun they could have done so easily, maybe MS felt like it was time to part.

I don't understand the "damage control" statement. Bungie has been independant since 2007, MS created 343 studios at least last year and told everyone that 343 was doing Halo from now on and we've known since last year that Bungie most likely won't be doing another Halo. "Damage Control" is done by a year. The only people I see freaking out about this are PS3 guys, which makes sense because they get to play a Bungie game without paying the "evil" MS any money, hooray for you.

i think you are misinterpiting the statment. sony is saying is that bungie's next project is going to be muscular space men who save the world by squirting the aliens with their breast milk.

"Halo on steroids" will be good, it'll complement Sony's first party shooters, which are closer to "Halo on Ritalin"

how are sony desperate for a halo killer? they already have two series which are better then halo quality wise. do you even know what they mean by" halo on sterioids"?
