i see more wii ads than others,for the console as a whole too rather than just individual games

you only really see individual games for the other two,i only really saw heavy rain ads here in england but they must of had a load of GOW3 ads surely

having said that i don't watch alot of tv,but i do see the kids playing PSP's in sony/columbia movies like in 2012

I watch: FX, SKY1, ComedyCentral, and some kid channels.

The TVs on most of the day too, don't normally watch but the PS3/WII/360 adds usually catch my eye, I see probably 2-3 XBOX adds every day, the same for the Wii. I see a playstation advert around once every two weeks.

On the other hand, however. Pretty much every time I load up a video on the internet, I get a PS3 advert. Never seen 360 or Wii in these places, so I still do see a whole load of PS3 adds.

Comedy Central had lots of them in the Netherlands.. but advertising is expensive in Europe.. lots of countries, different rules, different languages, different agencies etc..

i think its because sony knows they are strong in others territory. so my guess is that they are focusing on NA at the moment. but yes, i believe they would sell more if they put out more ads

I see ONLY Sony ads, and the occasional (extremely irritating) DS ad which goes on about how much fun you can have playing Brain Training and Card and Board Games Collection.

It's been a while since I saw a 360 ad, actually.

Well I watch Sky, ITV and DAVE. Never seen a Ps3 ad apart from the runup to chrimbo

I watch all TV online now so I don't see many ads.

but like jneul I saw the uncharted 2 ad in cinemas I was like "YEAH GO PS3"!

Well, at least in Portugal, there is a huge ammount of publicity.. sometimes I even think why would Sony waste so much money in a small country like Portugal. The PS3's Lifetime sales probably won't surpass 1 million PS3s, they can get a decent amount of software sales, but still...
From time to time I see a Nintendo Wii advertisement on TV (getting more often now), and I honestly can't remember of one single 360 advertisement. Can't really blame MS, they know Portugal loves Sony's consoles.
