NO NO NO NO! even this thread is a NO!
With releases such as Alan wake? Halo Reach! the Beta alone will boost up ODST sales
Then you have the release of Project Natal with several confirmed games and many more unknown games, As stated before natal will have more launch game than move.
In terms of First party studio i think yes but 360 has a lot of exclusivity support from third party which makes up for it
PSN: HienTran2691
XBL: IVietCong
The poll on this thread makes a valid point, just not the one the OP intended.

360 could stop selling right now and still be a success, and it won't, it will keep on seeling, yeah it has it's problems, but what console don't.
it's fanbase is happy, they love the games, they love the online, it is supported.........yeah that's pretty much success to me,who cares how much it sells or what place it's in
The 360 should have the slim revealed at E3 with a new price point, so I don't think it is finished. It is finished in Japan since they are biased to rivaling countries products. Sony even had a hard time over there until they shaped up and started proving to Japan they could deliver quality games. The Japanese market is severely weakened this gen though. The Wii and the portables are the strongest systems over there. The Slim with Reach and Fable 3 and more titles right behind it should revitalize 360 sales. If Microsoft does well at E3 (which they always seem to be steady at) they should improve. Microsoft really has a lot of secret titles to reveal for 2011, so be ready. The Natal vs Move vs Wii-mote war is about to begin.
So basicly what everyone is repeating..
Slim, Reach, Pricecut and Natal will keep it going for another 4 years? I dont play halo, i dont like motion controllers (hence why i dont own a wii) and if the new slim/pricecut isnt anything extraordinary.. i wont buy another xbox. Is this what the next couple of 4 years is going to bring us? Makes me a sad panda.

In NA the Xbox 360 has only got a $100 price drop in four years while the competition dropped $200 in just three years.
In Europe the X360 got only a 160 Euro price drop in four years while the competition has dropped 300 Euros in three years. (the PS3 cost 600 Euros at launch here since there was no 20GB version released. Today main PS3s are 300 Euro and the 250GB is 350 Euro).
That's the reason why the X360 is tanking at the moment. But one price cut and it could be ahead of the PS3 again.

Do you just want someone to list out all the known 360 exclusives/console exclusives as well? |
No.. but the majority of what everyone here is saying is that those 4 things are the backbone of what will keep the 360 kicking. I mean, Gears of War 3 will obviously help with longitivity of the 360s lifetime etc, as will the games we do not yet know about. But a Halo Wars 2 or L4D3 wont have the same impact as those top four will have on the lifetime sales of the console.

Sales end of 2009: 37 million
2010: 11 million
2011: 11 milion
2012: 7 million (cause Xbox 3 probably launches in Nov that year)
2013: 3 million
2014: 2 million - factories stop producing X360s.
----------
71 million lifetime
Halo Reach, new gears, new Fable. Splinter cell franchise, Forza and soon Alan Wake. And whatever else the monstrously wealthy corporation microsoft has cookin.
The 360 is a cheap and accesable HD console, with many more years in it. It's already a success imo so why these "360 is DOMED!!!" threads?
Rumoured slim and pricecut would add another massive boost to sales, as would doing something like making it free to play online and adding more services to their subscription package.
Edit: Lol at the number of people who voted yes.
