Im almost sure it will. Before last week it had 6.03 mln and there were 6 weeks left. So it have to do do 1.97mln in 6 weeks, thats 330k per week. Not that much actually (it sold 227k the previous week) and with the help of Christmas rush it can even do 8.5 mil.

So PS3 is at 6.36 mln: there are 1.64 mln to sell and 5 weeks left. So PS3 has to seel 328k per week (5k less than it sold last week). It should be done easily.

Absolutely, and this week generally is even better for sales then black friday week. :) We'll have the PS3 at 8 million before the end of the year. I really don't see sales dropping in the coming weeks while the holiday season is in full force. I wouldn't be shocked if some decide to not get a wii due to the difficulty in getting one at a store and getting a PS3 since they are familiar with the Playstation brand name and that there is stock in stores.

I think it will do that. After black friday's week (333 thousand) if it can keep that up for the next five weeks, then it will break eight million. I think it could. It'd be a great milestone for them.

And it would keep sony on pace to hit 10-11 million by the end of the fiscal year. Heck, maybe even more with some anticipated titles coming out between now and then.
