Not even Halo, Gears or Mass Effect has attracted this much attention from opposite fanboys. Is Alan Wake that much of a threat to the opposite fanboys? I can only guess it's all the visuals hype it's been getting.

lets be honest, the games has fantastic graphics. but there not even close to other games like Crysis, Uncharted 2 or even Killzone2. 

there good but not THAT good

 

the reason its getting hates is probs because all the 360 babys have been going around for years brining the user score down on Playstation and Nintendo games. its not just coming back at them as the PS & ND fans are doing it back

 

and at the end of the day its 'metacritic'......who even uses that hahha

you can ask a large number of people on here and they will know that i have had 2 xbox 360's

first 1 RROD... shocking

then had the 2nd for 11 months but there where no games that i wanted so sold it for a new surf board.

and im not 'trolling' you can look at what Selnor opened the thread with to see he was trolling. trying to ster rubbish up knowing full well it was like evryother game on every platform getting trolled by losers who use metacritic.

For the record I' not asking anyone about your fantasy 360 either, it matters little, as I was right that you don't and won't own one.

With all those similar "pointing fingers" posts of yours, you're obviously as guilty of trolling as you claim he is.

Sony's staff doesn't need to vote.  The Playstation has enough partisans in its ranks that they do all the work, and pay money for the priviledge of spreading anti-everyone else propaganda.

Of course it does.  The context was anti-Microsoft stuff.  The other way is pro-Sony stuff.  There is also anti-Sony stuff and also pro-Microsoft and pro-Nintendo stuff that goes on to.  This partisanship is a major reason for The Conduit becoming a hype machine.  People posting Alan Wake positive review links on here, before the game gets release also fits into the mix.  Companies don't need to pay anyone to do their work.  Shoot, even some shameless individuals have company logos as their avatars, for the HORROR of it all!  (No, I don't get a paycheck from anyone, as if Atari had money to do it).

So 360 users aren't even allowed to adopt a pragmatic attitude towards the hate directed at one of their exclusives? We can't laugh at an obvious example of bias without the thread filling up with irate PS3 fans? This wasn't directed at you personally. Unless you are actually one of that rage-filled 53 known as 'The Wakebusters'.

Selnor just did this for a laugh imo but things can get ugly fast here on VGC. Especially for someone who has dared to question the overwhelming technical superiority of VGC' overwhelmingly favourite console. Don't worry, we aren't expecting Wake to take VGC' GOTY. We are expecting it to be great.

I dont understand the people who did this on metacritic...and I never will. And that's something that comforts me :P But I don't understand people like the guy above either(the one with the alan wake picture). I'm a ps3 fanboy, I really dislike M$ as a company ,but I'm not criticizing anyone who owns an xbox. They just like different exclusives than I do and have different opinion than me or don't care about the company they support.

But I have to say ,Alan Wake is the first Xbox exclusive that got my attention...
