Probably all of Sony's staff voted ;)

Right on metacritic's page it says...

"[Note: Ignore the user vote tally above. They are very old votes from people who have not played the game. They will be zero'd out before the game is released.] Alan Wake is a psychological action thriller, a unique new take in the world of ..."

Sony's staff doesn't need to vote.  The Playstation has enough partisans in its ranks that they do all the work, and pay money for the priviledge of spreading anti-everyone else propaganda.

It goes both ways. ¬_¬

Of course it does.  The context was anti-Microsoft stuff.  The other way is pro-Sony stuff.  There is also anti-Sony stuff and also pro-Microsoft and pro-Nintendo stuff that goes on to.  This partisanship is a major reason for The Conduit becoming a hype machine.  People posting Alan Wake positive review links on here, before the game gets release also fits into the mix.  Companies don't need to pay anyone to do their work.  Shoot, even some shameless individuals have company logos as their avatars, for the HORROR of it all!  (No, I don't get a paycheck from anyone, as if Atari had money to do it).
