Reasonable on 25 April 2010

Happens all the time to exclusives on both HD consoles.

It should be ignored and the OP is rather silly to imply it means people are 'running scared' as that just whips up more arguing. Were 360 fans running scared when voting down Uncharted 2 for example? I know Selnor is oddly determined to have the 'best graphics' on 360 but that's almost impossible to agree anyway and I wish he'd give it a rest personally with this crusade. At different times each console is going to be home to some nominal 'graphics king' and it's just a waste of time really.

As for the posters on Metacritic... it's just idiots being idiots - although sites like Metacritic could make like a lot easier by at least not activating user reviews until a game actually releases.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Well considering the total user base (including PC gamers) that are on the internet, 56 brainless, total dickheads isn't really all that much. At least we now know how many of them there are.

Not even Halo, Gears or Mass Effect has attracted this much attention from opposite fanboys. Is Alan Wake that much of a threat to the opposite fanboys? I can only guess it's all the visuals hype it's been getting.

lets be honest, the games has fantastic graphics. but there not even close to other games like Crysis, Uncharted 2 or even Killzone2.

the reason its getting hates is probs because all the 360 babys have been going around for years brining the user score down on Playstation and Nintendo games. its not just coming back at them as the PS & ND fans are doing it back

 

and at the end of the day its 'metacritic'......who even uses that hahha

Like others have said, I just don't get it. Why give a game a shitty rating because it's on a competing console? Why rate a game that you haven't played?

People are stupid.

Maybe one day, since game consoles have gotten more advanced, only people who have a particular game linked to their gamertag/psn id will be able to rate a game.

I played the first Max Payne on the PS2 and I have almost finished the second on the PC.
Think I might do a few levels tonight. Need to get ready for MP3.
