Forums - Sony - If the PSP Go was $150 Would you get it?

No, I've like 30 PSP games and can't play none of them on the PSPGo, spending 150 in a system without backward comapitibility and few techincal upgrades

no because you still have to pay full price for downloaded games and you need to pay more for a large memorty stick to hold more games.

overall i like the psp go idea a lot but the cost is not worth it compared to buying a 3000 model

if it was 150 i would get it, id trade in all of the games i dont play rebuy what i can from PSN

Had the Go launched at said price along with app store esque pricing structure they are trying to develop for PSN then yes. Now we seem to close to PSP2 or PSP Phone.

Theres a 16 GB built in memory. And no you dont have to pay full price anymore unless its a very recent games. You can find lots of games below 10$.

On topic: 150$ would be a steal with everything you can do with it. At 150$ the price point would be good even if you just wanna use it as MP3 and video player lol.

If I wasn't nearly certain that the PSP2 was coming, I would jump at it in the $130 - 150 range, no physical media makes it really portable and nice.

Not until they put Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on the PSN store.

I really really want one, even at this price, but my problem is that I can't get any of my games on it!!!

I also think that it is not too long before the PSP 2

No, I would buy it for 100$.

It's the fair price for a UMD-less PSP and for a console that is almost dead.

You really need to put things in perspective. What is the mp3/mp4 player with 16 GB memory built in, bluetooth, wi-fi, awesome screen and small design below 150$ you know of? Not even talking about playing PSP games here. PSPgo is clearly design to be a multimedia device as is a Zune or Ipod but with PSP games playback.
