Well he just twisted the plot to fit the way he views the game ... I guess.

And anyhow since when do Jrpgs ( emphasis on the J) make much sense ... Or are in anyway logical, especial in the Final Fantasy series ... some of the dialogue is just complete mumbo jumbo.

He was seriously emo. Heroes in RPGs defy the odds all the time, but I doubt such a little bitch as Squall would have had the fighting spirit needed to survive a mortal wound.

Plus, the Draw system is so tedious as to suck the very will to live out of pretty much anybody.

The more I think about it, the more plausible it seems.

Not sure if serious... but Squall was really just 'emo' in the first few hours of the game. Honestly, most of his quotes made a lot of sense later on. It's pretty much his rational thinking against Rinoa's intense feelings and stuff.

Also, the battle system, I wuv it. o_O

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I'm actually willing to say that Squall is the reason emo became mainstream... he was like the breakout kid for emo's..

One of the best reasons for why this can't be true comes from one of the replies on the blog.
"because the writers weren't THAT good".

But it was a cool read anyway. It was a great game, one of the best. I wish we had narratives like that in current FFs. Here's to hoping that ffv13 delivers.
