Marvelous can't catch a break.

They've been flopping pretty much everywhere recently.  It started in 2009 on Wii, then DS, then PSP, then 360/PS3... now they're moving into iPad and facebook games. lol.

I don't think they'll last much longer.  Harvest Moon's still a valuable enough IP though I expect a merger with someone or they'll just get bought out by SE or Namco or someone.  I'm not sure who'll go first though, Marvelous or Nippon Ichi?  Hey, maybe they should merge (lol)?

I'm sure they will die faster if they merge. Not even sure if anyone would want them though.

Are you kidding? Why wouldn't a large company want a team of talented, creative developers?

They would want the developers but no the IP though. Why pay the premium for the IP while you only want the developers?

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

The Disgaea and Harvest Moon IP should be pretty desirable to anyone has the definitely have fanbases and value.

NSMB Wii is #1!

The game of the generation in Japan.

and the second game of the generation everywhere else so quite possibly eventually the game of the generation.

MW2 being the first in the rest of the world and most weeks outselling NSMB Wii.  But Japan usually pushes NSMB over

Mario Kart isn't on the top ten....

Other than that NMH sales are decent i don't think it will have legs. Maybe PS3 version will sell if its compatible with PS MOVE.

Other than that its the usual stuff with NSMB Wii topping the charts again.

I actually consider it a win that it charted at all.  Granted they probably expected better... but they shouldn't have.

Heck, it probably sold better then NMH original did in japan...  based on what source said it did somewhere between 60K and 10K combined.

NMH  only did 11K first week.  Makes you wonder what they were thinking...
