Marvelous can't catch a break.

Since Mario kart Wii is here, we can expect low numbers everywhere.

They've been flopping pretty much everywhere recently.  It started in 2009 on Wii, then DS, then PSP, then 360/PS3... now they're moving into iPad and facebook games. lol.

I don't think they'll last much longer.  Harvest Moon's still a valuable enough IP though I expect a merger with someone or they'll just get bought out by SE or Namco or someone.  I'm not sure who'll go first though, Marvelous or Nippon Ichi?  Hey, maybe they should merge (lol)?

Yep, they can't even make money on portable systems :(

2009-05-28 PSP Yuusha 30 (Half-Minute Hero) --- 46,808
2009-09-17 PSP Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! Battle Arena 2 --- 20,471
2009-10-22 NDS Rune Factory 3 --- 63,588
2009-12-10 NDS Luminous Arc 3: Eyes --- 22,357
2010-02-25 PSP Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! Kizuna no Tag Battle --- 10,362

Only Yuusha 30 and Rune Factory 3 sold decently but it's not enough to recover from all of their lately flops.

Yuusha's sales aren't even that great, it was just super low budget.

Rune Factory 3 was down quite a bit for the series too.  They've kinda milked that one dry. :/

Mario Kart Wii sells 5k-10k each week, and NSMB Wii is only around 30k this week so the reality is just that sales were really slow in Japan with fewer than 10 games topping 10k.

Sounds pretty bad for NMH then.  They should've released it on a platform for hardcore gamers or something. :P

Sales are everywhere slowing down if you ask me...Is it me or HW of this week looks to be a lot lower compared to last weeks? (Worldwide).

I'm sure they will die faster if they merge. Not even sure if anyone would want them though.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
