Are you still talking about my 17.5 million number? I already told you that's the MAXIMUM according to my prediction that I made like a month ago. I don't think it will happen, but 15.5 will happen for sure. It will likely surpass 16 million actually (going by current vgchartz numbers).

I think somewhere in the 15 mil range will be where the 360 tops off this year. The only way I can see it reaching 17+ mil is if M$ announces that GTA IV is going to be exclusive, or that mgs4 or ff13 will be coming to their system. I highly doubt anything like that will happen so I don’t think the 360 will reach 17 million this year.

16 million is very possible, as long as MS sells the same ammount of 360s as they did last year they will break that barrier, and i expect even more sales.
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

I think breaking 16 million or not depends a lot on whether the 360 was overtracked last month or not. According to NPD it was, but we'll only know for sure when shipment reports come out, most likely in the middle of January.
