um the jak (later on ) series revolves around guns as much as Ratchet and clank does , and then I guess super mario sunshine is a third person shooter..

guy's we cannot really argue with this, SONY's has made some great platformers but are leagues several different companies

Hm I came in this expecting to see Platforming games to be shown in all their glory. That seems to have gotten thrown out the window pretty fast

no no no... ur missing the point. Its NOT ABOUT GUNS, Megaman has a gun( Buster) to, its about the primarily focus of the game Jak has about 3x as much platforming in one hour then you'll find in R&C in full playthrough. Its focus and SOTC, Uncharted, and R&C focus is NOT platforming

Mario is a platformer
Ratchet and Clank is a Platformer except Tools of Destruction and R&C Deadlocked are third person shooters
Jak And Daxter are all platformers except Jak X
Sly cooper is a platformer
LittleBigPlanet is a platformer

a platformer is a game where you jump from level to level or area to area, and collect certain collectables to advance to more levels, and it focuses on level design and PLATFORMS

Uncharted, infamous, Team Ico games are platformers? Lol Wtf?

what you talkin bout sony has no plaformer beside maybe ratchet but the game is really no platformer and for the guy who said shadow of collusus and ico those are adventure games like link
