all come to mind with sony platformers , and sure 1 of then is from a 2nd party, but they still own the ip, not all of nintendo's first party is made by 1st party they also have 2nd party devs under hand. |
Stop Leo.... Jak and Daxter( SONY's best) and LBP are the only games on that list that are real platformers rest just have platform elements but primarily other genres |
just because a game has guns doesn't mean it's not a platformer.. all those listed are platformers..

??? this has nothing to do with guns hello jak series........other than the ones I listed the other games areprimarily different genres with few platforming elements. LBP and Jak primarily focus on platforming while the other games like R&C which is really a TPS with platforming elements. Just because the character jumps doesnt make it a platformer if that was the case Zelda, Halo, DMC, Bayonetta and the list goes on would be platformers to |
um the jak (later on ) series revolves around guns as much as Ratchet and clank does , and then I guess super mario sunshine is a third person shooter.. |
no no no... ur missing the point. Its NOT ABOUT GUNS, Megaman has a gun( Buster) to, its about the primarily focus of the game Jak has about 3x as much platforming in one hour then you'll find in R&C in full playthrough. Its focus and SOTC, Uncharted, and R&C focus is NOT platforming
