NOOOOO! Don't say "N'er"!! When I was a kid, it meant "Never". According to the Urban Dictionary.com, it means something else entirely!!

I'm not sure whether you intentionally misled me at first or whether you're being honest here.

P.S. For randomers, no I'm not racist, in fact I detest racism of any kind.

I swear to God!  I recalled the phrase "N'er do well" and realized that it had most of the same letters as the word "Nier".  I just went to that site for some confirmation (as I often do).  I was blown away!!  Plus, I'm black.  I've never heard the term used that way.

lol, you had me confuzzled for a minute.

I know you're African American (I remember those pics of you in your police uniform on this website), and I've also seen the word used that way to avoid filtering from certain websites. So you had me thrown completely off guard. XD

You know what's really gonna blow your mind?  I just read the post where the guy found out that "Nier was Dutch for kidney".  Out of curiosity, I typed "Nier" into the Urban dictionary, too.   Guess what!  It means that, too!!  What the fuck, Urban Dictionary?

I will admit that when I saw the original announcement trailer. I was not too thrilled with the game. It just looked dark and boring. But having seen the recent trailer which can be seen here:

I can say my interest has gone up considerably. Also having read previews from Vandal.net, GameKult, and IncGamers. It seems to me that they are all coming to the same conclusion. Nier is just a game that they had all expected not to perform well. But it is. It is actually a fun decent action game with a meaty story that will keep you interested. One person even saying that "the first boss fight is one of the most enjoyable in recent memory."

I can definitely say that I loved Drakengard and I do have faith in Cavia. Now I ask you, will you be picking this game up?

I will be for sure.

You can hype a game without lying about your interest in it.

What the hell are you talking about? I didn't lie. I thought it did suck at the beginning but it started to look more interesting over time. and i'm not hyping the game. I asked a simple question pal.

Don't worry. 90% of Urban Dictionary consists of synonyms for that word, offensive slang in general and sexual euphimisms.

EDIT: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=kidney . I rest my case.

You know, even though Nier is published by Square, I haven't heard much about it. I've no clue what the plot is about (something along the lines of "find missing daughter"??).

I'll be waiting on reviews for this, plus game length.
