Haha, I remember at the time thinking it was pretty nifty to be able to color images on your TV.

Of course, back then I considered everything even remotely to do with dinosaurs way cool...  Actually, I still do.

They should re-release that game for the VC, or remake it into a WiiWare title. I'd totally buy it, if only for the nostalgic lulz.

Oh... but did you know Color a Dinosaur came out a year AFTER Mario Paint came out on the SNES?  That's the punchline for me.  That and the worst NES music ever created coming out years after Mega Man 2, Contra, and all the NES Mario games.

It did? Haha, that's hilarious, didn't know that. XD I never owned either of the two, but my best friend had Color A Dinosaur and I remember playing it quite a few times. I don't remember ever seeing and/or playing Mario Paint back then, so to me the game seemed pretty original. I honestly don't remember anything about the music from the game, but hearing it in that vid makes me realize just how crap the game really was.

Not sure there's any real 'good' month left to release a game like that on Wii this year what with the titles that are coming out, but I'd agree that late summer/early fall is probably its best shot. Every so often I would wonder about this game after I had heard about it, and I wondered if it had been canceled or just delayed. At least now I know. I'm intrigued by it and would consider picking it up after seeing a gameplay video or something of it.
