A few months back I read the 3D Dot Game Heroes import review and was pleased with a 7/10 score from them. Back then 3D Dot Game Heroes has some loading issues, which happened to later be fixed in a patch and also had some complaints about the breakout styled game.

Still, 7/10 was more than I expected.

Now 6 hours ago we got the US review, where the game had loading times all but erased thanks to the install option, the breakotu styled game enhanced and not so much of a pain in the ass as well as tons of added extras on the disc like custom characters.

Thanks to the import review I was expecting somthing great, but I will let down.

6/10 was less than I expected.

I know it was done by seperate reviewers, but with both of them on the site it saddens me that the 6/10 is the one that everyone will look at.

I think before this Metacritic had the 7/10 import review being used and now changed it to the 6/10.

Noobs, they should add both.

So Eurogamer or whatever reviewer have different tastes in games and express a different opinion to you. That is life. Deal with it.

They have made some tough calls but that is how the reviewer at the time saw the game they reviewed.

It would be a really boring world if we all shared the same views, opinions on everything.

I think it should get a full point bump just for the price. Also, it doesn't surprise me at all that some people aren't going to like this game. It's not going to stop me from getting it and retro-geeking out!

I just wanted to point out something odd. Doesn't mean I dislike Eurogamer or have any ill will towards their reviewers.

Hell, the things they complain about are the things I love about the game. In other words he takes a whole review to complain about it being similar to an 18+ year old game.

OMG! That is awesome!!!

The thing about 6 is that if you turn it upside down and reflect it, it becomes a 9/10! That's great!

That's better than doing the same thing to a 7, which pretty much becomes an L, and L/10 just doesn't make sense.
