Also, what's with the "Guitar Hero begot Rock Band" comment?  He's complaining about a "shortsighted view of video game history" and then forgets that both Guitar Hero (2005) and Rock Band (2007) were made by the same developer?  And more importantly, they were simply localizing Konami's Japanese arcade series Guitar Freaks (1999), which already had a full band experience in the arcade?

Perspective isn't really the strong suit, here.

I think that Euphoria's topic did a lot better job of selling me on the game. Did you know you can build your own character in this game? It is pretty sweet-looking.

I honestly can't believe they do not like the music. GameInformer absolutely loved it.

It like Zelda, Megaman, etc... from the 8 bit days all rolled into one awesome package!

 

How could you not like this? O_o

I have owned this soundtrack for months now. Music reminiscent of the 8 bit days is awesome, just check the avatar, my daughter and R.O.B. approve.

^^lol they should have given the sound 10/10, because we all know it's a tribute to older days, the music is just epic lol, it gives me so many memories, and yes i did play on megaman back on the snes
