Wow, supply shortages really killed PS3 and Wii. Everything overtracked by about 100k

I guess it's karma being as though people seemed to have forgotten the Wii was supply constrained last NPD, when it was outsold by the 360.

sony with every copy of good of war 3 makes more money with each consolesells (if it wins something for console)

But lets pretend that isn't an achievement & lol over it for being outsold despite being supply constrained.

Let it go dude, there won't be any meltdown this month which you badly wanted, oh check those FFXIII numbers.

I remember when the 360 was supply constrained at the beginning one year and how that went over here. Shoe, other foot, blah blah blah . . .

Ok then time for the nasty stuff

Once again Ps3 is the highest overtracked product by 39%.

It would appear NPD believe 360 is selling average of 84k a week and PS3 78k a week.
Vgc has them at 115k a week for 360 and 109k for PS3.

Which means both 360 and PS3 are not selling anywhere near the high numbers currently VGC has them acording to NPD. I find that most interesting as we are lead to believe on here the demand is high, especially for the PS3.

Accusing VGchartz is one thing, being wrong is even worst.

You are using NA numbers vs US numbers my friend. But, keep going....

MLB The Show 10 is under tracked by 100k :|. Suprised it managed to get top 10 also lol.

God of War 3 sold 1.1mil in March, more then it's predessors. Hope VGChartz adjusted software sales.

Ya know I knew Pokemon was going to be higher than God of War 3 but I didn't expect one version to almost outsell God of War 3. Considering they had similar release dates (2 days apart) nice ones to compare. Of course I don't know if it is more impressive that God of War 3 can keep up with one version of Pokemon, or that Pokemon can almost double God of War 3. Either way great sales for both.

Bad Company 2 is much bigger on 360 than PS3 but equally the same as Final Fantasy 13 compared to PS3 and 360. MLB was out the entire month so no surprise there. While Wii Fit Plus and NSMB Wii show they are the evergreen titles... not MW2 (although I'm sure they are high in the top 20).

Hardware wise no shockers. Although I'm still just worried how Sony can just let their handheld contender sink like that. But DS and Wii show strong months (especially Wii who had more supply in the month) and PS3 and 360 stay close (PS3 who also had more supply in the month). Both Wii and PS3 still having issues getting on shelves but much better scenarios than the previous month. 360 stays consistent even without a significant exclusive in the month though FF13 and BC2 helped.
